Everyone must have a record of existent. Some of the records are done by the state. Countries started the record of a person existence since the day he is born. The note is stored in a file on citizen database. These notes are updated at some point of a person’s life. When a person reaches a certain age will have citizenship identity cards that recorded by the state. All forms of licensing for several needs are recorded by the state. State has a record of; vehicle ownership and driving permissions, property ownership and permissions to build the property, marriage records with residence and name changes, the record of obligation paid such as taxes and income taxes which indicates the amount of income and employment, and records of violations or services for the country. This simplifies background investigation process for a person. With reference to state records, everything about a person can become apparent. This is very helpful when someone or some institution wants to know one’s background.

Checking one’s background is sometimes necessary for security. In family case, a background of tenant or homebuyer can be researched before accepting them to ensure that people can be trusted. These records can be obtained directly from the state or some agency that has permission to disclose such information. Although this action may hurt someone’s feelings but it needs to be done for security. Parents can do this as consideration material for the new family member, such as a prospective wife or husband. If someone looks suspicious, criminal background checks can be done. By checking backgrounds, you can participate in reducing crime rates.

Conducting background checks directly to government agency may be a bit inconvenient, especially when you have to do that for several people. Therefore, some private companies are available to get better results.
